Ridgeline Canada Inc. is recruiting for a Billings Administrator/ Intermediate Accounting Administrator to support Ridgeline Canada Inc, Ridgeline Oil Recovery Inc, and the three operational divisions; Ridgeline Environment, Ridgeline GreenFill and Ridgeline Response out of our Calgary office.

Reporting directly to the Billings Supervisor and/ or Controller (dependent on task), Ridgeline’s Billing/Accounting Administrator will participate actively in the day to day billing and other accounting procedures.

The successful candidate will need to be familiar with underlying accounting principles, intermediate level working knowledge with Excel, be able to possess effective communication both internally and externally, as well as be able to maintain an excellent working relationship with all staff, customers and vendors.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate and continued support from the accounting department will ensure your career is successful.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have 2-4 years of experience working as an Accounting Administrator/Bookkeeper
  • Accounts Receivable & Invoicing experience is an asset;
  • Experience with billable time and third-party expenses preferable
  • Experience with purchase orders and accruals is an
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must (work experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritise
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and work well under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Quick Books is an asset
  • Experience with Replicon or similar Time Management/EPP programs is considered an asset;
  • Experience with Site View, Actian, ADP, and CORTEX would be a definite asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with billing department to ensure accurate invoicing and reporting
  • Assist Controller with adhoc accounting tasks
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Adhoc Operational and Financial Reporting
  • Ensuring filing systems and record are maintained and up-to-date
  • Providing continuous support to other areas of accounting; including purchase orders
